Precision Measurement's Metrology Team

Our team consist of highly trained metrologists with decades of experience in measurement science to assist professionals who depend on accurate measurements for their results. They are readily available to help our customers obtain precise measurement results and calibrate their test and measuring equipment.

We pride ourselves on the high accuracy of our results, turnaround times of 48 to 72 hours, and fair and competitive prices. Our team received SANAS accreditation in 1998 in previous operations and formed Precision Measurements in 2015, continuing our high quality of service.

Precision Measurement’s Forensic Investigations & Failure Analysis Team

Our team is responsible for impartial inspections to determine cause-of-failure and assist in the fair outcome of insurance claims and court cases.

Our inspections include electronic and electrical equipment for damages caused by lightning, power surge, impact, liquids, fire or wear and tear.

SANAS Calibration

This consists of qualiﬁed metrologist performing calibration in an environmentally controlled laboratory. Most of our calibration capabilities are offered as an on-site solution to our customer

New & Used Sales & Rentals

We offer both new and used equipment for sale at competitive prices, with customer-specific terms negotiable. We also offer rental of a wide variety of equipment for short-, medium- and long-term use. On request, we can provide training on the operation and use of all equipment, as an added feature for your package.

Forensic Investigations & Failure Analyses

We offer specialised investigations determining the cause of electronic and electrical equipment failure. We issue a subjective and impartial engineering report on the outcome of the investigation. These reports are often used to support court cases or payment/non-payment of insurance claims.

Training In A Variety Of Fields

We offer training in a variety of fields, such as: - Equipment usage and care. - Repair techniques & principles. - Basic workshop skills (such as soldering and fault ﬁnding). - We oﬀer reduced packages for group training sessions. Training is also available at the customer’s premises.

Repair & Service

We oﬀer service and repair down to component level (Through-hole & SMD) on all our calibration principles and custom equipment with a well-established network for sourcing replacement boards, parts and components. All repair work is guaranteed and carries a warranty.

We Offer Collection & Delivery

We offer a free collection-from and delivery-to customer premises depending on customer location and contract value. Delivery and collections for small quantities of equipment can be arranged at a minimal fee.
